The day the clocks change
It’s true that at 2 AM on November 6th, 2011 we will move from daylight savings time to standard time. Hard to believe that we have this joint pact that says, two times a year it is time to shift an hour. Now for a time obsessed guy like me it is a task to set all the clocks back one hour. And it is a task and a half. Now I have met many who don’t even wear a watch. On the road I wear two. So for the next week or so I will run across another clock and have to remember how to set it.
Lesson in losing 30% of your business in one phone call. Now that is a BAD day!
Everyday business owners wakeup and get hit with a cold dose of reality. This is so true that you would think that we would expect it. But NO!
A client called me the other day, with yet another of those how could I have lost the big customer. I was getting 30% of my revenue from them and then they up and switch. No meeting, just a phone call, we won’t be needing you anymore.
